Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • ½ cup Unsalted butter
  • 4 oz Bittersweet chocolate chopped
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 2 large Egg yolks
  • ¼ cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 tablespoon All-purpose flour

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Grease and flour 4 ramekins.
  2. Melt the butter and chocolate together in a double boiler or microwave. Stir until smooth.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, egg yolks, sugar, and salt until thickened and pale.
  4. Fold the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture. Then fold in the flour until just combined.
  5. Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins. Bake for 12 minutes, until the edges are set but the center is still soft.
  6. Let the cakes cool in the ramekins for 1 minute, then run a knife around the edges to loosen and invert onto plates. Serve immediately.
