Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • ½ cup Unsalted Butter plus extra for greasing
  • 4 oz Semisweet Chocolate chopped
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 2 large Egg Yolks
  • ¼ cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 tablespoon All-Purpose Flour

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Grease four ramekins with butter and dust with flour.
  2. Melt the butter and chocolate together in a heatproof bowl over simmering water or in the microwave. Stir until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, whisk the eggs, egg yolks, sugar, and salt until thickened and pale.
  4. Fold the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture. Add the flour and mix until just combined.
  5. Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins. Place them on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 12 minutes until the edges are firm but the center is still soft.
  7. Let the cakes cool in the ramekins for 1 minute. Run a knife around the edges to loosen and invert onto plates. Serve immediately.
