Ingredients 

Dough

  • 200 g rye flour
  • 50 g all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 200 ml water

Filling

  • 200 g short-grain rice
  • 500 ml milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions 

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 225°C (437°F).
  2. 2. Mix rye flour, all-purpose flour, and salt in a bowl. Add water and mix until dough forms.
  3. 3. Roll the dough into a log and cut into 12 pieces. Roll each piece into a thin oval.
  4. 4. Cook rice in milk with salt until thick and creamy.
  5. 5. Place a spoonful of rice filling on each dough oval. Fold and pinch the edges to form pies.
  6. 6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
