Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter softened
  • 1.5 cups Sugar
  • 2 units Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 3 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Jelly beans

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
  4. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture.
  5. Fold in jelly beans.
  6. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until edges are golden.
  8. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
