Ingredients

Filling

  • 2 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
  • 1 cup Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger, minced
  • 2 cups Potatoes, boiled and diced
  • 1 cup Frozen Peas
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 2 tablespoon Cilantro, chopped

Pie Crust

  • 2 sheets Pie Crust store-bought or homemade

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds.
  3. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown. Add garlic and ginger, and cook for another minute.
  4. Add boiled potatoes, peas, coriander powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, salt, and red chili powder. Mix well and cook for 5-7 minutes. Stir in chopped cilantro and remove from heat.
  5. Roll out one pie crust and place it in a pie dish. Add the filling and spread it evenly.
  6. Cover with the second pie crust, sealing the edges. Cut a few slits on top to allow steam to escape.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
