  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup light corn syrup
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions 

  1. In a saucepan, combine the heavy cream, corn syrup, brown sugar, and cocoa powder. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture comes to a boil.
  2. Reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the chocolate chips, butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Let it cool slightly before serving.
