Honey Whole Wheat Dinner Rolls Recipe
Soft and slightly sweet dinner rolls made with whole wheat flour and honey.

Main Ingredients
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- ¼ cup honey
- 1 cup warm water about 110°F
- ¼ cup unsalted butter melted
- 1 teaspoon salt
In a large mixing bowl, combine warm water and honey. Sprinkle yeast over the top and let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
Add whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, melted butter, and salt to the yeast mixture. Stir until a dough forms.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a ball and place on a greased baking sheet.
Cover and let the rolls rise for another 20 minutes. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
