- 4 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Active dry yeast
- 1.5 teaspoon Salt
- 1.5 cups Warm water
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
Add warm water and mix until a dough forms.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour.
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Divide the dough into 4 equal parts and shape each into a ball.
Place the dough balls on a baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
Let the bread bowls cool before cutting off the tops and hollowing out the centers.
