- 4 cups bread, cubed stale or day-old bread works best
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar or your choice
- 1 tablespoon fresh herbs, chopped parsley, thyme, or your choice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and heavy cream.
Add the cubed bread, shredded cheese, chopped herbs, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine.
Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the pudding is set.
