Hazelnut Tart Recipe

Crust
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup unsalted butter cold, cut into pieces
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 pinch salt
Filling
- 1 cup hazelnuts toasted and chopped
- ½ cup heavy cream
- ½ cup sugar
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Press the mixture into a tart pan. Bake for 15 minutes or until lightly golden. Let cool.
In another bowl, mix hazelnuts, heavy cream, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Pour into the cooled crust.
Bake for 25 minutes or until the filling is set. Let cool before serving.
