Hawaiian Banana Nut Bread

Main Ingredients
- 1.5 cups mashed ripe bananas
- 1 cup sugar
- 0.5 cup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 cup chopped nuts walnuts or pecans
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
In a large bowl, mix together the mashed bananas, sugar, oil, eggs, and vanilla extract.
In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring until just combined. Fold in the chopped nuts.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
