Green Tomato Pie Recipe

Main Ingredients
- 4 cups green tomatoes, sliced
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoon flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoon butter cut into small pieces
- 1 package pie crust top and bottom
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced green tomatoes, sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice.
Place one pie crust in a pie dish. Pour the tomato mixture into the crust and dot with butter.
Cover with the second pie crust. Seal the edges and cut a few slits on top to let steam escape.
Bake for 60 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
Let the pie cool before serving.
