Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 500 g Chicken Breast sliced into strips
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice freshly squeezed
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper freshly ground
  • 4 pieces Pita Bread
  • 1 cup Tzatziki Sauce
  • 1 cup Tomatoes diced
  • 1 cup Red Onion sliced
  • 1 cup Lettuce shredded

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. 2. Add chicken strips to the bowl and mix well to coat. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. 3. Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken strips for about 5-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked.
  4. 4. Warm the pita bread on the grill pan for about 1 minute on each side.
  5. 5. Assemble the gyros by placing chicken strips on the pita bread, and topping with tzatziki sauce, tomatoes, red onion, and lettuce.
  6. 6. Serve immediately and enjoy!
