Main Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup milk
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice (for glaze)
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a donut pan.
In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl, whisk milk, melted butter, eggs, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
Combine wet and dry ingredients, then fold in poppy seeds.
Fill donut pan with batter and bake for 10 minutes.
Let donuts cool. Mix powdered sugar and lemon juice for glaze.
Dip cooled donuts in glaze and let set.
