Main Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking pan.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter and brown sugar until smooth.
Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix well.
In another bowl, combine flour, ground ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking powder, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
Bake for 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serving.
