  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. Combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt; gradually blend into the creamed mixture.
  5. Roll dough into a large ball and place on the prepared baking sheet. Flatten slightly.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes in the preheated oven, or until edges are golden. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
