Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
Fold in the M&Ms, then spread the dough out onto the prepared baking sheet, forming a large cookie.
Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Allow to cool on the baking sheet before slicing.
