  • 4 potatoes peeled and grated
  • 1 onion grated
  • 2 tablespoon flour
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. 1. Peel and grate the potatoes and onion.
  2. 2. In a large bowl, mix the grated potatoes, grated onion, flour, beaten eggs, salt, and pepper.
  3. 3. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  4. 4. Scoop about ¼ cup of the potato mixture into the pan and flatten it with a spatula.
  5. 5. Fry until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. 6. Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve hot.
