Ingredients

  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes, and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. 3. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  4. 4. Add the cherry tomatoes to the skillet and cook until they start to soften, about 2 minutes.
  5. 5. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. 6. Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley. Serve immediately.
