Pretzel Dough
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
Garlic Butter
- 4 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
Add warm water and melted butter. Mix until dough forms.
Knead dough on a floured surface for 5 minutes.
Divide dough into 8 pieces. Roll each piece into a rope and tie into a knot.
Place knots on a baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
In a small bowl, combine melted butter, garlic, and parsley.
Brush garlic butter over warm pretzel knots. Serve immediately.
