- 1 cup Butter softened
- 1.5 cups Sugar
- 2 Eggs large
- 2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 0.75 cup Cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon Baking soda
- 0.5 teaspoon Salt
- 1.5 cups Chocolate chips
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Drop by rounded tablespoons onto the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers are still soft. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
