Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups Apples, peeled and diced
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 package Refrigerated Pie Crusts
  • 1 cup Vegetable Oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine apples, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  2. 2. Melt butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Add apple mixture and cook until apples are tender.
  3. 3. Roll out pie crusts and cut into circles. Place a spoonful of apple mixture in the center of each circle.
  4. 4. Fold the dough over the filling and press edges to seal.
  5. 5. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry pies until golden brown on both sides.
  6. 6. Drain on paper towels and serve warm.
