Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 4 cups Tomatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 1 piece 9-inch prebaked pie crust
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place the sliced tomatoes in a colander in the sink in 1 layer. Sprinkle with salt and allow to drain for 10 minutes.
  3. Layer the tomato slices, basil, and onion in the pie shell. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Combine the grated cheeses and mayonnaise together. Spread mixture on top of the tomatoes and bake for 30 minutes or until lightly browned.
  5. Cut into slices and serve warm.
