- 6 large Tomatoes chopped
- 1 medium Onion chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon Chili powder
- 1 tablespoon Lime juice freshly squeezed
1. Heat the olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
2. Add the chopped onions and garlic, and sauté until they are soft and translucent.
3. Add the chopped tomatoes, salt, black pepper, and chili powder. Stir well.
4. Let the mixture simmer for about 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
5. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly. Blend the mixture until smooth.
6. Stir in the lime juice and adjust seasoning if needed.
