Dough
- 4 cups bread flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon instant yeast
- 1.5 cups warm water
Topping
- 0.5 cup everything bagel seasoning
In a large mixing bowl, combine the bread flour, sugar, salt, and instant yeast.
Add warm water and mix until a dough forms. Knead for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover, and let rise for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a ball, then poke a hole in the center to form a bagel shape.
Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Boil each bagel for 1 minute on each side, then remove with a slotted spoon and place on the prepared baking sheet.
Sprinkle the everything bagel seasoning over the tops of the bagels.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool before serving.
