Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 pieces Duck breasts
  • 1 cup Cherries, pitted fresh or frozen
  • ½ cup Red wine
  • 1 tablespoon Balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon water
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. Score the skin of the duck breasts and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the duck breasts skin-side down. Cook until the skin is crispy, about 6-8 minutes.
  3. Flip the duck breasts and cook for another 4-5 minutes. Remove from skillet and let rest.
  4. In a saucepan, combine cherries, red wine, balsamic vinegar, and honey. Bring to a simmer.
  5. Add the cornstarch mixture to the saucepan and stir until thickened. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Slice the duck breasts and serve with the cherry sauce.
