Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup chocolate chips

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9 inch baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla extract, and mix until smooth.
  3. Sift in cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Mix until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  6. Let the brownies cool in the pan before cutting into squares. Enjoy!
