Ingredients 

Dough

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 ½ cups warm water
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup olive oil

Decoration

  • 1 handful cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 handful fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme, etc.)
  • 1 handful sliced bell peppers
  • 1 handful sliced red onions

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, yeast, and salt.
  2. 2. Add the warm water and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. 3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
  4. 4. Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  5. 5. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  6. 6. Punch down the dough and transfer it to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spread it out to your desired thickness.
  7. 7. Use your fingers to create dimples all over the surface of the dough.
  8. 8. Decorate the dough with cherry tomatoes, fresh herbs, bell peppers, and red onions.
  9. 9. Drizzle a little olive oil over the top and sprinkle with salt.
  10. 10. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  11. 11. Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
