Pie Crust
- 1 package store-bought pie crust or homemade
Filling
- 1 cup dark corn syrup
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter melted
- 3 large eggs beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 ½ cups pecan halves
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Place the pie crust in a pie dish and set aside.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the corn syrup, sugar, melted butter, beaten eggs, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
Stir in the pecan halves and dark chocolate chips.
Pour the mixture into the prepared pie crust.
Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown.
Allow the pie to cool completely before serving.
