- 1 cup Butter softened
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- 2 Eggs large
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Dark Chocolate Chips
- 1 cup Pecans chopped
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cream together the butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
Fold in the dark chocolate chips and chopped pecans.
Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are lightly browned. Cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
