Dough
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk warm
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoon active dry yeast
- 1 cup unsalted butter cold
In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
Add warm milk and mix until a dough forms.
Knead the dough for about 10 minutes, then let it rest for 1 hour.
Roll out the dough and add cold butter in the center. Fold and roll out the dough several times to incorporate the butter.
Cut the dough into triangles and roll each into a croissant shape.
Place croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and let them rise for 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake croissants for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
