Ingredients 

Choux Pastry

  • ½ cup Butter
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 cup All-purpose Flour
  • 4 Eggs

Cream Filling

  • 2 cups Heavy Cream
  • ¼ cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a saucepan, bring butter, water, and salt to a boil.
  3. Add flour all at once and stir vigorously until the mixture forms a ball.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool for 5 minutes.
  5. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition until smooth.
  6. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on a wire rack.
  8. For the filling, whip cream with sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
  9. Cut puffs in half and fill with whipped cream.
