Crust and Crumble
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup butter cold and cubed
- 1 cup cranberries fresh or frozen
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine flour and sugar. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Press half of the mixture into a greased baking dish to form the crust.
In another bowl, mix cranberries, sugar, and cornstarch. Spread over the crust.
Sprinkle the remaining crumble mixture over the cranberry layer.
Bake for 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
Let it cool before cutting into bars.
