Cottage Pie Recipe
A hearty and comforting dish made with minced meat and mashed potatoes.

Main Ingredients
- 500 g Minced beef
- 1 Onion, chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoon Tomato paste
- 1 cup Beef broth
- 1 cup Frozen peas and carrots
- 4 Potatoes, peeled and chopped
- ½ cup Milk
- 2 tablespoon Butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a skillet, cook minced beef until browned. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, cook until softened.
Stir in tomato paste and beef broth. Add frozen peas and carrots. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, boil potatoes until tender. Mash with milk and butter. Season with salt and pepper.
Spread meat mixture in a baking dish. Top with mashed potatoes. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
