Main Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar for caramel
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 5 eggs
- 1 tablespoon instant coffee dissolved in 2 tablespoon hot water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the sugar until it turns into a golden caramel. Pour into a baking dish and swirl to coat the bottom.
In a blender, combine the sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, eggs, dissolved coffee, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth.
Pour the mixture over the caramel in the baking dish.
Place the baking dish in a larger pan filled with hot water to create a water bath. Bake for about 60 minutes or until set.
Remove from the oven and let it cool. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
To serve, run a knife around the edges and invert onto a plate.
