Ingredients

  • 1 cup Evaporated Milk
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 3 units Egg Yolks beaten
  • ½ cup Butter cubed
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 ⅓ cup Sweetened Flaked Coconut
  • 1 cup Chopped Pecans toasted

Instructions 

  1. In a saucepan, combine evaporated milk, sugar, egg yolks, and butter. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened, about 12 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla, coconut, and pecans. Cool to room temperature before spreading on cake.
