Classic Tiramisu Recipe
A classic Italian dessert made with layers of coffee-soaked ladyfingers and mascarpone cheese.

Main Ingredients
- 6 large egg yolks
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1 ½ cup heavy cream
- 2 cups strong brewed coffee cooled
- ¼ cup coffee liqueur optional
- 1 package ladyfingers about 24
- 2 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder for dusting
1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together egg yolks and sugar until thick and pale.
2. Add mascarpone cheese to the egg mixture and mix until smooth.
3. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold into the mascarpone mixture.
4. Combine coffee and coffee liqueur in a shallow dish. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture and arrange them in a single layer in a baking dish.
5. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers. Repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers and the remaining mascarpone mixture.
6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight. Dust with cocoa powder before serving.
