- 1 cup Butter softened
- 1.5 cups Sugar
- 2 units Eggs
- 2.75 cups All-purpose Flour
- 2 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 0.5 teaspoon Salt
- 1 tablespoon Ground Cinnamon
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and 1 cup of sugar until smooth.
Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
Combine flour, baking powder, and salt; stir into the creamed mixture until just blended.
Mix the remaining sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
Roll dough into 1 inch balls, and roll the balls in the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Place them 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, until lightly browned.
Remove from cookie sheets to cool on wire racks.
