Ingredients 

Cupcake Batter

  • 1.5 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup Milk

Cinnamon Swirl

  • 0.5 cup Brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Ground cinnamon
  • 0.25 cup Unsalted butter, melted

Glaze

  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Milk
  • 0.5 teaspoon Vanilla extract

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and milk. Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
  4. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter for the swirl.
  5. Fill each cupcake liner halfway with batter. Add a spoonful of cinnamon mixture and swirl with a toothpick. Top with more batter.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool.
  7. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Drizzle over cooled cupcakes.
