Ingredients 

Crust

  • 1.5 cups walnuts finely chopped
  • 0.5 cup flour
  • 0.25 cup sugar
  • 0.5 cup butter melted

Filling

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz dark chocolate chopped
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine walnuts, flour, sugar, and melted butter. Press mixture into a tart pan to form the crust.
  3. Bake the crust for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and set aside.
  4. In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream until it just begins to simmer. Remove from heat and add the chopped dark chocolate. Stir until smooth.
  5. Let the chocolate mixture cool slightly, then whisk in the beaten eggs and vanilla extract.
  6. Pour the filling into the prepared crust. Bake for 20 minutes or until the filling is set.
  7. Let the tart cool before serving.
