  • 200 g dark chocolate finely chopped
  • 100 ml heavy cream
  • 25 g butter unsalted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 50 g cocoa powder for coating

Instructions 

  1. 1. Heat the cream in a saucepan over medium heat until it begins to simmer.
  2. 2. Remove from heat and add the chopped dark chocolate. Let it sit for a minute, then whisk until smooth.
  3. 3. Add the butter and vanilla extract, and whisk until fully incorporated.
  4. 4. Let the mixture cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for about 2 hours or until firm.
  5. 5. Scoop small amounts of the mixture and roll into balls. Coat each ball with cocoa powder.
  6. 6. Store the truffles in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
