In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of flour, yeast, and sugar.
Add warm milk, melted butter, and beaten egg. Mix well.
Gradually add remaining flour to form a soft dough.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes.
Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
Roll out dough into a rectangle. Spread softened butter, sprinkle brown sugar, and chocolate chips.
Roll up the dough and cut into 12 rolls. Place on a baking sheet.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
