Ingredients 

Crust

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup unsalted butter cold, cubed
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 2 tablespoon cold water

Filling

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz dark chocolate chopped
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. Add cold butter and mix until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Add egg yolk and cold water. Mix until the dough comes together. Press into a tart pan.
  4. Bake the crust for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Let it cool.
  5. For the filling, heat the heavy cream until just simmering. Pour over chopped chocolate and let sit for 5 minutes.
  6. Stir until smooth. Add orange zest and vanilla extract. Pour into the cooled crust.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
