Ingredients 

Cake Base

  • 1 cup Flour
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • ¼ cup Cocoa powder
  • ½ cup Butter melted
  • 2 Eggs

Chocolate Mousse

  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • ½ cup Dark chocolate melted
  • ¼ cup Sugar

Instructions 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and cocoa powder.
  3. Add melted butter and eggs, and mix until smooth.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and bake for 25 minutes.
  5. Let the cake cool completely.
  6. For the mousse, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  7. Fold in melted dark chocolate and sugar until well combined.
  8. Spread the mousse over the cooled cake base.
  9. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
