Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter softened
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 units Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Peppermint extract
  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • ½ cup Cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Chocolate chips

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs, vanilla extract, and peppermint extract.
  4. Combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt; gradually stir into the creamed mixture.
  5. Mix in the chocolate chips.
  6. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  7. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until set. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
