Main Ingredients
- 200 g dark chocolate chopped
- 100 g hazelnuts toasted and chopped
- 100 ml heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 50 g crushed wafers
1. In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream until it just begins to simmer.
2. Pour the hot cream over the chopped dark chocolate in a mixing bowl. Let it sit for a minute, then stir until smooth.
3. Stir in the vanilla extract and chopped hazelnuts.
4. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for about 1 hour, or until firm enough to scoop.
5. Scoop small amounts of the mixture and roll into balls.
6. Roll the truffles in the crushed wafers to coat.
7. Place the truffles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and chill until firm.
