Main Ingredients
- 1 cup Unsalted Butter softened
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 cup Brown Sugar packed
- 2 Large Eggs room temperature
- 2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 2 ¼ cups All-Purpose Flour
- ½ cup Cocoa Powder unsweetened
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 2 tablespoon Instant Espresso Powder
- 2 cups Chocolate Chips
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, salt, and espresso powder.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers are still soft. Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
