  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup crushed pretzels

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Mix well.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla extract to the mixture. Stir until smooth.
  4. Gradually add flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix until just combined.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips and crushed pretzels.
  6. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking pan.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
