Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease mini bundt cake pans.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat butter and sugars until creamy. Add egg and vanilla, mix well.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, alternating with buttermilk. Mix until just combined.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Pour batter into prepared pans, filling each about ⅔ full.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cakes cool in pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
