Main Ingredients
- 4 cups bread, cubed day-old or stale bread works best
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 eggs beaten
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the milk, heavy cream, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.
Place the cubed bread in a baking dish and sprinkle the chocolate chips over the top.
Pour the custard mixture over the bread and chocolate chips, pressing down lightly to ensure the bread absorbs the liquid.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the custard is set.
Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
